YOU DID IT!
You CRUSHED our goal twelve hours early with a mind-blowing $5,130! So, as promised, I am going to lift this young man with my beard this Friday:
Best of all, YOU CAN SEE IT LIVE! That’s right: Chicago’s own Gapers Block will be sponsoring my very last lift this Friday at Emmit’s Pub as part of their monthly get-together. Be there at 8pm to witness the end of an era. And by era I mean beard. And by end I mean the horrific tearing of hair from face. HOORAY!

I wish I could be there to see it in person and support you, but the Cinci roster has an extra practice Friday night. I know your beard will withstand this last onslaught, and I’m so happy for you that you’ve reached your goal! Congratulations!
Congratulations! You’re doing amazing work. Who would have ever guessed a beard would make such a difference for so many Chicago families? I can’t make it to the child lift, but I will be forever cheering the beard and it’s work.
What time will the actual lift take place? Norma’s right, the Nadabees have practice 7-9, but we can probably make it there by 9:30ish if you’ll be lifting later on in the evening. (((Seeing the beard get ripped from your face)))

Sadly, we’ve got to do the lift pretty early, ’cause Casey can’t be out too late. We’ll still be kickin’ it afterward though, so come on by!
